As of May 2003, the Management Board of OAO Gazprom adopted Gazprom Leasing Development Conception (Regulation No 31 as of 22.05.2003). The Conception’s primary objectives are as follows: reinforcement of control over a proper use of Company’s funds and assets, additional fundraising and cost optimization by using tax privileges. The Decision of Gazprom’s Tender Committee entitles Gaztechleasing, LTD to enter into leasing agreements for the benefit of Gazprom’s subsidiaries.

The Company started in 2001 and ranks among the leading Russian leasing companies. The Leasing portfolio includes a wide range of asset types: buildings and structures, sea and river vessels, aircraft, rolling stocks, vehicles and road construction machinery, oil-and-gas equipment, avionics equipment, computer systems, process control and other equipment. Today, 33 thousand assets are under lease. Moreover, The Company is developing various leasing projects for those facilities that are to be commissioned.
